APP710

Key features

This module enables experienced practitioners from a range of health professions to undertake structured clinical history-taking and systematic physical examination.
While advanced clinical skills are introduced, the focus is on recognising normal findings. The module should be considered part of a package that practitioners must complete to become an advanced practitioner.
On successful completion of this module, learners will be able to recognise normal findings, enabling them to identify and differentiate abnormalities. This is achieved through an in-depth understanding of the underlying anatomy and physiology of clinical systems, which is then applied to the clinical exam.
Relevant pathophysiology is included to support understanding, but it is not the primary focus of the module.
